Project name: Power and reactive optimisation service and billing review for 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Brief description: During 2015, 2016 and 2017, Creara optimized Ferrovial’s electricity billing at 375 supply points.
The work performed included the optimisation of electricity supplies in terms of power and reactive energy consumption, with the corresponding monitoring of the savings achieved.
In addition, the revision of the bills issued by energy trade companies in the last 5 years and their subsequent claim was started. On the other hand, outstanding guarantees were requested for the supply points withdrawn during the study period.
The activities carried out in the project generated positive results, providing Ferrovial with a high degree of economic savings.
Measures implemented: Modification of contracted powers, claims for billing errors and guarantees.
Results achieved: Adaptation of the contracted powers to the real demand of the client.
