The purpose of FROnT was to create fair renewable Heating and Cooling (RHC) options and support the market deployment of these technologies.
Results Achieved
It improved transparency about costs of heating and cooling options (using RHC or fossil fuels), RHC support schemes and end-user key decision factors, by the development of tools for consumers that are still available nowadays, and which provided the starting point for the work of the HARP project.
This knowledge has contributed towards developing Strategic Policy Priorities for RHC to be used by public authorities in designing and implementing better support mechanisms.
