Project name: Optimisation of Cordoba City Council’s Electric Power Supplies
Brief description: : The city of Cordoba promoted the COLUZe project, an Initiative with which the Andalusian city took its first big step on its way to becoming a ‘smart city’. The project had a triple objective: to reduce energy consumption, to cut pollutant emissions and to invest in renewable energies, through public lighting, municipal buildings and facilities and improvement or implementation of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies).
Measures implemented: Review of more than 25,000 electricity bills corresponding to 1,174 supplies. Recommendations were made to optimize these bills and were subsequently presented to the energy trading companies.
Results achieved: Savings of more than 30% of the bill cost were achieved.
